dumb trends

hahahaha... this is true for Vancouver too. Minimalism is cool and all but not when it destroys your knees, and for god sakes, stop showing up on your fixies and doing lame ass 'tricks'. I almost think that both scootering and rollerblading where more tolerable then these people... Heres what it looks like on film, take note of how awkward and stupid it all looks

Eric Hillen will be famous
i was in Prince George all last year and i realized that no one there was filming the local riders which is kind of stupid considering that there are lots of good guys to film. When my friend Wayne moved there i knew that some filming of him had to be done, and then when me and Wayne got together we decided that our friend Eric should ride for Transition Bikes. So long story short, heres the videos I made of Eric, and we should find out in the next couple weeks if Erics riding for Transition.

Tattoo
so when i was about 15 i started getting into tattoos, i kept thinking of great ideas that would cover my whole body. Tigers fighting unicorns through the rings of Saturn... a rabid ET tearing through the skin on my chest... all fantastic ideas but i held back and said to myself that if i still wanted it in 10 years then i would get a big tattoo. So her i am at 25 and i started my full sleeve. I decided on Japanese style, mainly because of the practice and the tradition of tattooing in Japan which i found to be close to my personal beliefs. The more i educated myself in the research i was doing the more respect i had for the traditions and the meanings of the art in japan.

Ive been through 3 sittings totaling about 12 hours of work and this Friday I'm in for 6 more hours which will bring the art down to my wrist. The art is of two different dragons and ocean waves splashing though them, with possibly a small boat being cast in the waves and a few other things that will help to tie the whole piece together. I'm a little less then half done and I'm not expecting it to be done until April or may, ill keep things updated after every visit.

welcome i guess
Welcome to my blog, to be honest i started it to motivate me with my art. Art being writing, photography, videos and music, so this will serve almost as a public fourm for whatever i end up creating, and for whatever i find inspiration in. So with that being said, i'll be posting whatever works i feel fit too and whateveres inspiring me in the mean time so comments are good! party time!
