so when i was about 15 i started getting into tattoos, i kept thinking of great ideas that would cover my whole body. Tigers fighting unicorns through the rings of Saturn... a rabid ET tearing through the skin on my chest... all fantastic ideas but i held back and said to myself that if i still wanted it in 10 years then i would get a big tattoo. So her i am at 25 and i started my full sleeve. I decided on Japanese style, mainly because of the practice and the tradition of tattooing in Japan which i found to be close to my personal beliefs. The more i educated myself in the research i was doing the more respect i had for the traditions and the meanings of the art in japan.

Ive been through 3 sittings totaling about 12 hours of work and this Friday I'm in for 6 more hours which will bring the art down to my wrist. The art is of two different dragons and ocean waves splashing though them, with possibly a small boat being cast in the waves and a few other things that will help to tie the whole piece together. I'm a little less then half done and I'm not expecting it to be done until April or may, ill keep things updated after every visit.
